◎简 介
这是发生在一对连体双胞胎身上的喜剧，他们的名字叫鲍伯（马特·戴蒙 饰）和华特（格雷格·金尼尔 饰），两兄弟打从母亲肚子里生下来那一刻起，就连成一块形影不离。这也是没办法的事，谁让他们两人手臂处有9寸相连，想分开也不可能呢？
令人想不到的是，长大后的鲍伯和华特，不仅没有因为天生“残疾”而受到歧视，相反，因为他们是连体双生儿的缘故还取得了许多超出一般人的成绩。例如，在高中的时候，两兄弟在体育运动方面表现非常厉害，常常博得同学的喝彩声，他们成了优秀的曲棍球守门员，还获得了摔交冠军。
在精彩的喝彩声中，鲍伯和华特快乐的度过了他们的中学时光，那是他们最幸福的日子，他们结下了浓厚的兄弟情谊。不幸的是，高中毕业后不久，华特想到好莱坞打天下，实现自己做演员的梦想。但鲍伯却不愿意远行，在华特的努力说服之下，他终于心不甘情不愿的上路了。
到好莱坞后，他们被一家电视台招揽，出演著名歌手雪儿（雪儿 饰）主持的电视秀节目，立刻一炮而红。出名之后，华特和鲍伯不仅捞得大把的钞票，还有许多美女投怀送抱，只是兄弟俩身体连在一块，无法独享男女之乐，于是，矛盾开始萌发了。
最后，华特深深的爱上了美丽的姑娘艾普丽（伊娃·门德斯 饰），他决定向她求婚，但前提是，华特自己必须有一个独立的身体。眼看已经形影不离20多年的连体双胞胎，将遭遇分道扬镳的威胁……
