一幢面临拆卸的旧楼内只余零星数户：肥周(林雪饰)与其因遇上车祸而断了双脚的太太阿凤(关宝慧饰)、迷幻青年艺术家阿宝(彭怀安饰)及其女友阿芝(唐宁饰)、烂赌的福禄寿三人组、以及住在天台的拾荒婆婆(夏萍饰)。
街道的另一方有一间火锅店，肥周、阿芝与阿虫(黎耀祥饰)都是在店内打工。阿虫是一个极之好赌的员工，但逢赌必输，以致欠债累累；而阿宝则终日无所事事，祗喜欢吸食大麻度日，经常在火锅店蹓跶。
肥周与阿凤虽然生活艰苦，但感情却十分好，阿凤更谅解不能满足肥周的生理需要，故让肥周去召妓；一天，肥周在阴差阳错之下找上了妓女娇娇(吴文忻饰)，令他与阿凤的感情出现危机。
至于阿虫由于欠下赌债，无家可归，祗好投靠阿宝，在旧楼内只遇见福禄寿三人，大家边看球赛边打麻将，这晚阿虫做了大赢家，兼且在三人教路下，买边场波赢边场波，阿虫以为搬进来后转运，殊不知是恶运开始。
一天，阿宝在山头吸大麻时遇上一小女孩，她的出现令阿宝出现幻觉，不停的见到另一个少女娜娜(彭慧君饰)；其女友阿芝则变成双面人一样，时而温柔时而泼辣；及后阿宝的朋友报纸仔发现小女孩配戴的炼坠似曾相识……
这零星数户所遇到的事情，拾荒婆婆与忠伯看在眼里，忠伯爱莫能助，婆婆亦不停点化众人，可惜众人并不明白……
TOP花絮：
·唐宁首次接拍鬼片，饰演被鬼上身变成双重性格的人，在马来西亚拍摄外景时，与经理人入住酒店，并在晚上听到有小孩子的奔跑嘈杂声，但其它人都表示没有听到，令她十分心寒。
·由于有黎耀祥和吴文忻的加入，使得本片有了喜剧的成份，因为两个人在剧中扮演的是搞笑的角色，减轻了本片的恐怖程度。
